We Got
Our Microfinancing Cooperative is a collective comprised of Black cooperatives, social impact founders, and legacy business owners, drawing inspiration from the centuries-old African savings system known as “Susu.” Since our inception in 2022, we have successfully pooled and redistributed $130,000 to support 30 Black-owned businesses.
Our model not only offers non-extractive access to capital but also emphasizes the importance of mental health support, intentional community building, and the technical assistance that our local businesses deserve.

Is your business interested in participating in the third round of our Microfinancing Cooperative, where we will redistribute $250,000 in restorative capital? While we will prioritize established brick-and-mortar businesses, we also encourage applications from social impact brands, cooperatives, and those in the mental health and wellness sectors operating within the wider 30310 area.
