The Ke'nekt Cooperative is a Black Liberated Third Space
where the Community Gathers to Exchange Ideas.
We are Mutual Aid Based Cooperative Space where where you can find a Hyperlocal Community Think Tank of Residents, Legacy Black Businesses, Creatives & Micro Start Ups, where Global Ideas are not only Explored in Theory, but Developed and Invested into by the very Community in which they Live.
Historically there has been a Direct Correlation between Increased Property Taxes with the arrival of A Coffee Shop, Murals and Bike Lanes.
The Ke’nekt Cooperative has all 3 of the above mentioned.
As we know Atlanta is the Capital of Income Inequality.
The Median Household Income for a Black family in Atlanta is $28,000, while the Median Household Income for White families is roughly $84,000. The average Black Owned Business in Atlanta is valued at $58,085 while the Average Value of a White Business is $658,264 .
In the Spirit of Solidarity Economics (where the Community has their Needs Met in a way that does not Exploit the Community or Harm the Community ), A portion of our Proceeds Each Quarter is Redistribute back into our Community .
We are Dedicated to Tackling Systemic Racism and Creating A more Equitable Future. We are currently Focusing on Dismantling Anti-Blackness in the Workplace, Advocating for A Four-Day Work Week, Emphasizing Rest and Mental Healing, and
Implementing Restorative Practices.

JUNETEENTH JUBILEE
The Ke'nekt Cooperative annually hosts a celebration of Juneteenth with a community gathering featuring cultural performances, interactive games & Black Biz Marketplace.
UJAMAAFEST
Each year, the Ke'nekt Cooperative serve as a platform for showcasing and promoting Black-owned businesses Collective Wealth Building within the Black community
COMMUNITY DAY
On Community Day at the Ke'nekt Cooperative, community collaboratively worked on an interactive public art installation, a mural, and gathered for community conversations.
PROGRAMMING
MEDIA CLUB
Every second and last Sunday of the month, the Ke'nekt Cooperative invites community members to discuss selected readings and films that center around social justice, Black joy, and liberation.
SENIOR CONNECTIONS
Every first Friday, the Ke'nekt Cooperative holds space for senior in the community. Some meetings are intergenerations and some are just for seniors.
OFFICE HOURS
Every first Friday, the Ke'nekt Cooperative hosts co-working sessions and discussions on estate planning, book keeping, sustaining your business, and cooperative economics.
